101 Ways Description: "101 Ways (The Things a Girl Will Do to Keep Her Volvo) chronicles the romantic and sometimes vexing adventures of a struggling young writer, Watson (Wendy Hoopes). Watson has just moved to the suburbs in New Haven, Connecticut in order to concentrate on her budding writing career. Having grown up in Manhattan her entire life, she is a neophyte to suburbia and of course, to driving. Her over-possessive mother, who is neurotic about safety, convinces her to buy a Volvo, which she quickly realizes she can't afford.
